Mushroom season is here 🍄🥳 I thought I'd sha Mushroom season is here 🍄🥳 I thought I'd share this quick, nourishing, and gut-loving mushroom soup — super easy to make, especially when time is short at lunch or in the evening.

Mushrooms are not only delicious and full of umami, but also rich in prebiotic fibres that help nourish your gut microbiome and support overall digestive health.

You’ll need:
400 g crimini mushrooms, sliced
1 onion or a couple of shallots
Olive oil + a little ghee or butter
1 tsp dark miso paste
2 sprigs fresh thyme
750 ml veggie or chicken stock
A handful of soaked dried mushrooms
Lemon juice, salt + pepper to taste
(Optional: parsley, Parmesan, roasted chestnuts)

How to:
Sauté onions in olive oil for a few minutes, add thyme and mushrooms, and cook until golden. Stir in miso and pour in the stock (with the soaked mushrooms). Simmer for 10 minutes, then blend until smooth. Finish with a spoon of ghee or butter and a squeeze of lemon.

Serve with sourdough, a few sautéed mushrooms, or fresh herbs on top. For extra fibre and plant-based protein, add a tin of black beans (drained) into the soup.

✨ Comforting, earthy, and good for your gut.

Before we move too deep into October, I wanted to Before we move too deep into October, I wanted to share some more of my September highlights 🌿✨

Well, it’s really more the second half, since the first half I was in Austria hiking — as you might have seen in my summer recap 🏔️😊.

September is also my birthday month 🎂, so I treated myself to a herbalism course with avant.garden.life — loved the first day of lectures on herbalism and cider vinegar making! Sadly, I missed the foraging day, but I’m looking forward to the next one. The course runs for a whole year, so plenty of time to dive deeper into herbs and foraging 🌱 — super excited!

I also attended ohnberlin Matter Taste Tarot – Water Element evening. What a magical experience ✨ — a truly spectacular menu to accompany an evening of tarot card reading. Just divine! Already looking forward to the next one.

September closed with a wellness weekend at das__refugium in Hamburg, where team DE ancientandbrave served nourishing Hot Cacao + Collagen and Radiant Collagyn — delicious 💫. So much fun working with you again cannelle_nutrition & chiaraachi. It was wonderful meeting so many like-minded people — and chatting all things nutrition and wellness with Natalie and Marianne from soulcollective.eu.

Another highlight was meeting the team from truedates DK — I loved sampling their dates, treats, and gum — so delicious and such a great concept. The weekend was topped off with a wonderful goodie bag from das__refugium filled with treats from bjornborg and other fabulous wellness brands, like youme.goods — love your tea and meditation concept 🍵🧘‍♀️.

Now all focus shifts to October — it will be a busy one with events and, of course, my upcoming workshop, which I’m busy preparing for!

Wishing you a wonderful bank holiday weekend 💛

🍂 I can’t believe it’s already the 1st of O 🍂 I can’t believe it’s already the 1st of October! As much as I’m a little shocked by how quickly the year has flown by, I absolutely love this time of year. October always marks the start of the most abundant season – colourful harvests, cozy kitchen time, and jars filled with goodness for the colder months ahead.

Some of my favourites are fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, chutneys, and pickles. They’re packed with probiotics – the friendly bacteria that help keep your gut garden thriving. 🌱 I’ll be preparing a whole bunch of fermented delights for my workshop this weekend. 😊

Our gut is home to trillions of microbes, and probiotics act like tiny allies, supporting balance, digestion, and resilience. Autumn feels like the perfect time to nurture this inner ecosystem while preserving the season’s flavours.

✨ Sauerkraut isn’t just tangy and delicious – it’s also one of the simplest ways to add probiotics to your daily meals. Try it as a side, on a salad, or even on toast with avocado for a quick gut-friendly boost.

In my latest blog, I share more about prebiotics, probiotics (and even postbiotics!) — plus plenty of inspiration for feeding your microbiome. Writing the post also doubled as a little brainstorm for my workshop menu — which is still very much a work in progress....

That’s a wrap 🌞 After a busy summer — whic That’s a wrap 🌞

After a busy summer — which included quite some time off social media — I’m looking forward to the time of year when things start to slow down a little, while also opening the door to new opportunities and adventures.

For now, here’s a quick glimpse of the second half of summer: so many fab and fun memories ✨ Somehow, I managed to find a balance between work and travel, and got to spend time in nature — my favourite place to be.

Being in nature always brings me back to centre, and grounding myself has become such an important part of finding balance during the sometimes chaotic journey of building and running my own business. It’s the perfect complement to my daily grounding morning and evening rituals — and it reminds me that balance isn’t something to reach once and for all, but something to keep gently weaving into everyday life. 💛

I hope your summer was equally fun — despite the rain. 🌦️

What a week! ✨ This past week has easily been on What a week! ✨
This past week has easily been one of the busiest—and most brilliant—of the year so far.

It all kicked off at the VIP Fashion Week Beauty Lounge at Hotel de Rome, where ancientandbrave had the most beautiful stand. We served radiant Collagyn Spritz and Iced Matcha—super refreshing and delicious! Lovely Uta from Ancient + Brave and cannelle_nutrition and I spent two full days offering nutrition and product consultations to the wonderful guests. Such a joy to meet so many lovely people and share insights on collagen, healthy eating, and whole-body wellness.

The week ended on a high at the nourished.berlin in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party—pure magic! It was so much fun to team up with avant.garden.life, ohneberlin, ritualkitchen.co, ediblealchemy.co, valeria_eat_a_rainbow, and melotos to serve delicious culinary and medicinal creations and learn about all the inspiring projects.

What made this gathering extra special? Incredible live music, sunshine, the Bacterial Bar and Dry High mocktail bar delights, the Wonderland Shop, tarot, collaging, tea on tap, cupcakes, Alice wraps, mushroom walks, bread + dips + pickle heaven, and a raffle… plus the kindest feedback from so many lovely guests.

It was full-on, yes—but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. No time to rest though—this week is already flying!
Next stop: Titanic Hotel, then Munich. Holiday planning is definitely on the horizon—self-love, self-care! ☀️

Have a fabulous week!
